Welcome to Mimine BSO, where after-school care becomes an extension of calmness, creativity, and kindness. Located in the heart of Enkhuizen, inside our well-loved play café, Mimine BSO offers a cozy, inspiring space for children to unwind, explore, and feel at home.
Our afternoons are fully dedicated to our BSO children, offering care for up to 15 children per day (Monday to Thursday), ages 4 to 10.

Laetitia, Founder & Pedagogical Lead
With a deep passion for community and child development, Laetitia founded Mimine as a place where children and parents feel truly at home. She is responsible for the pedagogical vision, quality standards, and overall leadership of the BSO. You'll often find her present and actively involved with both children and families.
BSO Manager
Our BSO manager leads the daily operations and team management at Mimine BSO. With his warm and energetic presence, he brings structure, enthusiasm, and consistency to the group. He is a trusted point of contact for both children and parents, and oversees planning, coordination, and staff guidance. In addition to his managerial role, he is qualified to work within the staff–child ratio through his Leisure and Hospitality diploma. He is currently studying to become an MBO Level 3 Pedagogical Employee, further strengthening his professional expertise.

Meet Cindy, a creative spirit with a heart for every child
Cindy brings a unique blend of warmth, expertise, and creativity to Mimine BSO. With a background in primary education (PABO) and a specialization in Dutch Sign Language, she is passionate about inclusive communication and emotional connection.
Alongside her work at Mimine, she supports families at NSDSK, teaching parents how to engage with their children through signs. Her previous experience at Herdertje childcare and her deep love for theatre, singing, and dance make her a joyful and expressive presence.

Meet Isa, our cheerful and caring intern
Isa joins the Mimine BSO team every Monday afternoon as part of her studies in Pedagogy at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam.
She brings a spontaneous, open energy and a natural connection with children. Her experience ranges from babysitting children aged 0 to 12, to offering homework support to high school students, and assisting at social organizations like De Baanbreker.
Isa is thoughtful, creative, and loves to engage with the world around her, whether through a good book, meaningful conversations, or helping others. With her warm personality and eagerness to learn, she brings joy and fresh perspective to our afternoons.

Meet Anita, an experienced and caring professional with a warm heart for children
Anita brings more than 24 years of experience in childcare to Mimine BSO. With a background in Social Pedagogical Work, she has built a rich foundation of knowledge and practical experience over the years. As the mother of a three-and-a-half-year-old son, she also understands how important it is for children to feel safe, seen, and free to be themselves.
Anita pays close attention to children by truly listening and observing, allowing her to understand their needs and support their development. For her, not only the children are important, but also their parents. Through openness, respect, and trust, she enjoys building strong relationships with families.
In her free time, Anita enjoys cycling, walking, and doing puzzles. She also loves spending time with her son, whether visiting Sprookjeswonderland or playing together at Mimine. With her calm presence, experience, and genuine care, she creates a warm and safe environment for every child.

Freedom within structure: Children are free to choose how they engage, within a calm and guided rhythm that supports both independence and security.
Emotional development: Each afternoon begins with our Mimine Moment: a cozy table gathering where we share a snack and check in “What was a good part of your day? What was a hard moment?”
We also integrate mindfulness, calm transitions, emotion cards, and gentle practices like kid yoga to support emotional awareness.
Sustainable creativity: Our activities use natural and upcycled materials, encourage imagination, and include baking, outdoor play, gardening, and sensory crafting.
Respect for individuality: Every child is welcomed exactly as they are. There’s no pressure to perform, just space to explore, recharge, and be.
Our team is made up of trained pedagogical professionals who embrace mindfulness, sustainability, and emotional intelligence — all woven naturally into the rhythm of each afternoon.
Snacks
We serve organic, homemade snacks and drinks prepared with care, including fresh fruit, veggies, crackers, cheese, and water, milk or herbal tea.
Lunch is not provided, except during special booked activities.
Who We Are For
We care for children ages 4–10 during school days, with a maximum of 15 children per day. We currently offer school pickup from Pancratius, De Tweemaster, De Wegwijzer, Het Anker and Klaverweid. Children from other schools can also be dropped off.

Rates
We charge an hourly rate of €11 per hour , invoiced monthly in arrears.
Parents communicate in advance the fixed days on which their child will be present during school weeks.
Each booked day will be charged as a fixed package as follows:

4-hour package on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (14:00 – 18:00)

6-hour package on Wednesday (12:00 – 18:00)
Whether the child is picked up early or not: the full package will be invoiced for the reserved place.
Study days and holidays: Parents can include study days and holidays in their regular schedule or book them separately, depending on need and availability.

Mimine BSO is a registered childcare organization, which means that many families are eligible for childcare allowance. You can check your own entitlement and apply for the allowance via the Tax Authorities. We advise families to verify this independently.

Maak kennis met Isa, onze vrolijke en zorgzame stagiaire
Isa versterkt het team van Mimine BSO op maandagmiddag als onderdeel van haar studie Pedagogiek aan de Hogeschool van Amsterdam. Ze brengt een spontane en open energie mee en legt van nature gemakkelijk contact met kinderen. Isa heeft ervaring als oppas voor kinderen van 0 tot 12 jaar, gaf huiswerkbegeleiding op de middelbare school en was actief bij maatschappelijke organisaties zoals De Baanbreker. Ze is attent, creatief en houdt van verdiepen in de wereld om haar heen, of dat nu via een goed boek is of door betekenisvolle gesprekken. Met haar warme persoonlijkheid en leergierige houding brengt ze elke middag plezier en een frisse blik.
