Mimine toddler group Enkhuizen
little steps, big discoveries

mimine-B&S-ChantaldeGraaffPhotography-81.jpg

Welcome to the Mimine Toddler Group, a warm and nurturing place where little ones discover the world through play.

Located in the heart of Enkhuizen, we offer children aged 2 to 4 a small, stimulating environment where play, learning and development come naturally together.

With a maximum of just 8 children, we create space for personal attention, new friendships, independence and growing confidence.

Every Monday and Wednesday morning, from 8:45 AM to 12:15, we gently guide children through their early development, helping them build the foundations for a happy and confident start at primary school.

Our Vision

At Mimine, we believe the early years are a wonderful time of discovery, when every day brings something new.

Our toddler group is built on the same philosophy as Mimine BSO: a modern, personal approach to childcare where every child feels safe, seen and valued.

We focus on four essential foundations:

Emotional Security & Confidence

A warm, familiar environment where children learn to recognise their feelings, express themselves and develop confidence.

Learning Through Play

Through singing, building, arts and crafts, movement and imaginative play, children naturally develop their language, motor skills, creativity and curiosity.

Independence & Social Development

Playing together, taking turns, sharing, making choices and learning to do little things independently. Every step matters.

A Gentle Introduction to School Readiness

With familiar routines, circle time and playful learning activities, we help children develop the skills that will support their transition to primary school.

At Mimine, there is no rush to grow up. We respect every child's individual pace and celebrate both the little and big milestones along the way.

Our Pedagogical Approach

Freedom Within Structure

A familiar daily routine gives young children comfort and reassurance. Within this gentle structure, they are encouraged to explore, make choices and learn at their own pace.

Language & Communication

Through songs, storytelling, reading and everyday conversations, we naturally encourage language development in a playful and engaging way.

Emotional & Social Development

We help children recognise and express their feelings, learn to consider others and build their first friendships. Every step is guided with patience, kindness and care.

Movement & Creativity

From dancing and outdoor play to modelling clay, drawing and building, our activities support fine and gross motor development while encouraging imagination and creativity.

Growing Independence

Putting on a coat, tidying up, washing hands or trying something new. We gently encourage children to become more independent, celebrating each achievement without pressure.

Snacks

Beyond being a lovely little break, this shared moment helps children practise independence, sharing and social skills.

As our toddler group finishes before lunchtime, lunch is not provided.
