As the founder and owner of Papote, she is bringing this vision one step further with Papote BSO by Mimine in Amsterdam West. By combining Papote's unique atmosphere with Mimine's educational philosophy and approach, she creates a nurturing and inspiring after-school environment for children.
Sophia oversees the daily operations and continued development of the location. She brings the values of Mimine and the unique identity of Papote together, with personal attention, warmth and quality at the heart of everything they do.

Laetitia, Founder BSO by Mimine
Laetitia founded BSO by Mimine with the vision of creating a place where both children and parents feel welcome, valued and truly at home. As the founder of BSO by Mimine franchise concept, she oversees the brand’s vision, quality standards and continued development.
Through BSO by Mimine, she brings this vision to new locations, including Papote in Amsterdam West. She guides and supports local owners, ensuring that Mimine’s educational philosophy and quality standards remain at the heart of every location: personal, warm, caring and professional.
Together with Sophia, Laetitia ensures that Mimine’s values and approach come to life at Papote, while embracing the unique identity of the location.

Our Pedagogical Approach
At Mimine BSO, we believe in:
Freedom within structure: Children are free to choose how they engage, within a calm and guided rhythm that supports both independence and security.
Emotional development: Each afternoon begins with our Mimine Moment: a cozy table gathering where we share a snack and check in “What was a good part of your day? What was a hard moment?”
We also integrate mindfulness, calm transitions, emotion cards, and gentle practices like kid yoga to support emotional awareness.
Sustainable creativity: Our activities use natural and upcycled materials, encourage imagination, and include baking, outdoor play, gardening, and sensory crafting.
Respect for individuality: Every child is welcomed exactly as they are. There’s no pressure to perform, just space to explore, recharge, and be.
Our team is made up of trained pedagogical professionals who embrace mindfulness, sustainability, and emotional intelligence — all woven naturally into the rhythm of each afternoon.

Snacks
We serve organic, homemade snacks and drinks prepared with care, including fresh fruit, veggies, crackers, cheese, and water, milk or herbal tea.
Lunch is not provided, except during special booked activities.
Who We Are For
We offer after-school care for children aged 4 to 10 on school days, welcoming a maximum of 28 children per day.
Our school pick-up service is available from St. Janschool, De Meidoorn, DENISE and De Visserschool. Children attending other schools are, of course, also welcome and can be dropped off directly at our location.

Welcome to Papote BSO by Mimine, where after-school care is all about calm, creativity, connection and personal attention.
Located in the heart of Amsterdam West, inside the charming Papote Playcafé, we offer a warm, modern and inspiring environment where children can unwind after school, explore and feel free to be themselves.
Our afternoons are entirely dedicated to our BSO children. Welcoming up to 28 children per day, aged 4 to 10, we create a nurturing environment where every child receives the attention they deserve.
Our daughter (4) loves going there and comes home full of positive energy. There's a positive and relaxed atmosphere with wonderful professionals who are committed to your child's development. We are extremely satisfied with the after-school care!

Snacks
We serve organic, homemade snacks and drinks prepared with care, including fresh fruit, veggies, crackers, cheese, and water, milk or herbal tea.

WHO WE ARE FOR
We offer after-school care for children aged 4 to 10 on school days, welcoming a maximum of 28 children per day.

Rates
We charge an hourly rate of €12.50 per hour, invoiced monthly in arrears.
Parents communicate in advance the fixed days on which their child will be present during school weeks.
Each booked day will be charged as a fixed package as follows:

4-hour package on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (14:30 – 18:30)

6.5-hour package on Wednesday (12:00 – 18:30)
Whether the child is picked up early or not: the full package will be invoiced for the reserved place.
Study days and holidays: Parents can include study days and holidays in their regular schedule or book them separately, depending on need and availability.

Papote BSO by Mimine is a registered childcare organization, which means that many families are eligible for childcare allowance. You can check your own entitlement and apply for the allowance via the Tax Authorities. We advise families to verify this independently.
